USDOL Grants for Small Grassroots Organizations Connecting with the One-Stop Delivery System Grants (March 22, 2006)  
     

This is an annual USDOL competition very similar to solicitations in the last several years, in which Florida FBCOs have done well. Note that only small non-profits (Faith-based, Community-based or others) are eligible to apply if have budgets of under $500K and fewer than 10 staff. Lists of prior winner are available and assistance in applying may be available from successful peers who won prior grants.

The Employment and Training Administration (ETA), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announces the availability of $4,000,000 to award grants to eligible “grassroots” organizations with the ability to connect to the local One-Stop delivery system. The term “Grassroots” is defined under the Eligibility Criteria.
