AREA OF INTEREST: Long Term Recovery projects for victims of Hurricane Katrina

Grant range $5,000-$50,000 depending on impact of project

Neighbors 4 Neighbors has grants available for long-term recovery efforts in the Gulf States and Florida that will assist victims of hurricane Katrina. We are looking for projects that provide direct services and funding to help re establish the lives of families and individuals who were affected. We will also consider projects that assist with pet identification and relocation, and any other effort that fits these guidelines.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS NOVEMBER 18, 2005.

All recipient organizations websites will be linked to the Neighbors 4 Neighbors site, and must include information on relief activities. We want our donors to be able to see how their money is being used. We know you all do very important work, and also realize that recovery is a long process. We want to support your efforts. Applicants must have 501 ©3 status.
