This week’s issue of the WFI Weekly Workforce Updates offers several items concerning Katrina response and other issues of interest to FBCOs and other partners, including the lead article on evacuee count/distribution in Florida, the federal VA grant for to Volunteers of America in Lake City to serve homeless vets, and Congressional action on H.R 3761 to make National Emergency Grants more flexible to serve disaster victims, a change strongly advocated by Florida and beneficial to FBCOs.
