BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Chaired by Belinda Keiser, the 47-member state board sets policy and provides oversight to 24 regional workforce boards in designing and implementing programs to develop a skilled workforce.

The Workforce Florida board is comprised of seven standing committees: Executive, Finance, Legislative, Workforce Readiness, Youth Opportunity, Performance, and Technology – and four standing councils. The councils – Workforce Readiness and Performance, Business Competitiveness, Strategy and Finance and Administration – exist to play specific roles in helping Workforce Florida build a world-class talent pool for the state. They work together to help to bolster Florida’s business climate while remaining aligned with state priorities. On an as-needed basis, the board may form task forces or other special groups to focus on specific issues.
