Resolving Issues With Adobe Acrobat Files

Issues with printing an Acrobat file

Try these tips if you have trouble printing an Acrobat file:

  • Save the file locally before printing.
    Method 1:
    After opening the pdf file, click Save a Copy on the Adobe Reader toolbar. Select a location on your C: drive or other local drive, and click Save. Then open the saved file and choose print.
    Method 2:
    Right-click the link to the pdf file, and choose Save target as.... elect a location on your C: drive or other local drive, and click Save. Then open the saved file and choose print.
  • Upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader (current version is 8) by visiting the Adobe web site.
  • Install the program updates to lessen the chance your inability to print is caused by a program bug.
  • Troubleshoot the issue by following the steps on Adobe's printing problems page.
